Western Farmers Electric Cooperative
Western Farmers Electric Cooperative (WFEC), a generation and transmission (G&T) cooperative, provides electric service to 21 member cooperatives in Oklahoma and New Mexico. Over 320,000 member consumer meters are served by these 21 member cooperatives. The G&T owns and maintains 3,780 miles of transmission line. The Board meets on the third Wednesday of every month. The annual meeting is April 17, 2024. The Cooperative was incorporated in 1941 and energized in 1953.
